Here's to You

I know I keep going on about what a great experience this blogging thing is, but you'll just have to bear with me a little more. My blog has strengthened relationships I already had and has brought me new friends that I never would have expected. I wanted to celebrate my 50th post with a giveaway. I had seen a couple of giveaways on a few sites* and I had not won, not once. This made me very bitter. But now, I am celebrating my 52nd post and I am going to give something away as well, hopefully not making anyone else bitter. I bought that little Mickey that Jonathon is picking out while I was at Disney. I bought it with every one of my blog readers in mind.(even you blog stalkers who don't let me know you are there, you know who you are) I took this picture so that you would have evidence that it really did come from Disney. I know some of you have girls and would rather have Minnie. That's fine. I bought an extra Minnie just in case. All you have to do to register for this drawing is simply make a comment on this particular post.

*Reluctant and Scrappysue I forgive you for not picking my name in the random number drawing and we can all still be friends.

So, I didn't give anyone a timeframe on this drawing. I will give everyone until Thursday morning to post a comment. That was a good try, Gigi, but no, your name will not go in twice.

The drawing is officially closed. Just sit there on pins and needles until tomorrow. Isn't it my obligation as a blogger to drag this out as long as possible?

Oh too fun. My little 'Aisea loves Mickey and would love him, so I'm putting my name in for him!
I think I'm going to do something similar because I just posted my 100th post. I'll think on it and post a little later. Thanks for the idea!

Count me in! My mum and dad took me and my brother to Disney, Florida (I was 30 at the time!) and great fun was had by all. Daughter is dying to go (we'll need to save for a decade to go again)and would so love to win the Mickey! Can Jonathon bear to part with him?

This is great. Put my name in the hat - or should I say Ellie's name.

Does being cute bring any extra luck? (I'm talking about Ellie, not me, obviously).

i can not begin to tell you how much I love to blog. Up here in Pa the whole blog thing has not really caught on yet. I am trying. I have even invtited myself to several homes to help them get started. internet service is only dial up. Only a lucky 25% of the people in Fayette County get DSL service. And dail up and blogging is not very good. Put me in the drawing love the idea....

Who's your favorite?

Elizabeth said...

This is Elizabeth's husband. Can I put my name in too? Ioane Tongi

Sass said...

Does it help if I give you a blog award??

Amanda said...

Wow, it's getting really ugly in here.

Leah- You know you are my favorite best friend/ cousin who I'm related to two ways.

Ioane- Yes, you certainly count as a person even if you are a man.

Saralynn- I'm sorry I scared you. I really have no way of knowing who's out there looking at me. I think there are some patrollers that will tell you that, but I don't have one like that.

Emily- If you are a friend of Tara's, you're a friend of mine. Glad to have you, here.

Echo's Karen- you're my Karen, too.

Sass- bribery is normally a really bad thing, but in this case I'm okay with it.

Maybe Nate will want a Mickey (or a Minnie) who knows. When I told him you had blogged me (is that what it's called?) he asked how the hell I met you. First he said you were awesome.
