Let's Go Fly a Kite

What a day for kite flying. I have never been kite flying before. Gigi mentioned on her blog a few days ago that she loves to go. I suggested she arrange a playdate and she did. We took Anna, Shelby, Jackson, Madi, Jonathon and in the wagon are Reagan and Emma Mae. That was the most fun. The kids did really well flying the kites. They basically just held the string and thankfully it was windy enough that the kites stayed in the air a really long time. I was very impressed.

I tried to get a shot of the kite and the kite holder. That proved to be a little harder than I imagined. The people sort of turn to specks.

I noticed some odd tracks in the sand. I thought maybe I was discovering a new species of animal or something.

Turns out it was Emma Mae. She really loved crawling around in the sand.

I had a blast flying kites. I had no idea how fun it would be. That Gigi really knows what she is doing when it comes to those kites. I hope she didn't mind that I ran around with the camera while she ran around chasing the kids and their kites. Thanks Gigi.
