Professional Photographer

Today was my first attempt at trying to take my own professional type pictures of the kids. I am trying to teach myself to use this really nice camera that I have. The only problem is, it is not a digital camera. I had to take 6 rolls of film. A lot of them turned out really great and some of them, not so much. I'll try to take some time in the next few days to post more, because I would really like your opinion. But right now, I have so many pictures and can't figure out how to upload them to blogger from Picasa2. And I'm tired.

Those are great! I'm impressed. Did you have them developed today too? You are good! Can't wait to see the rest!

Oh Amanda...how I wish we lived closer together! I think we have lots of the same interests. I want to learn lots more about photography too. So many of my friends here make businesses out of it and I wish I could do that too. I think these turned out great and I'm sure they will just get better and better the more you learn!

Such darling photos... they are truly priceless. Also, I love the last post about your baby, Emma Mae. She is so cute. I showed my mom your blog and she couldn't believe you had 4 children and she thought all of them were beautiful. So fun to keep up with you.

These are great photos. You can see the difference between film and digital. There's a much richer quality to the colour. If this is the kind of photo you take as a beginner you are going to be incredible with practice.

Scrappy - Don't know about Amanda, but I'm serious about NY. I'm researching flights and have been recommended places to stay.

Great pictures of the kids. They are growing up so fast. I can't believe Emma Mae is walking.

Yes, I am for sure going to NYC. I have gotten some great advice on this very site. I am looking forward to it very much.

Thank you for the compliments on the pictures. They don't seem as clear on the blog as they do in the folder. They were taken on Jekyll and I am going to do a whole post on all of that tomorrow.
