Anybody There?

I'm back. Maybe for good. We'll see. Totally non-commital, I know.

I have tons of pics to share but I'm starting small.

Know what strikes me about that picture?

It's that giant blue shoe. That shoe belongs to a child that I bore. Can you believe it? I actually have a child that is 8 years old. I feel like I'm still young but I am slowly beginning to feel age creeping up on me. I got pulled over by a state patrol officer for not wearing a seat belt (save the lectures, please) and all I could think when I saw him coming toward the car was, 'Your momma let you come out here?'. He looked too young to be risking his little life every day for us.

Back to the giant blue shoe. Jonathon's 8 and there's no getting around it. He won't stop growing so I just have to deal with it. Don't get me wrong. I love that he's getting older and learning to do things, it just seems like it was only yesterday that I was putting little tiny socks on him. We do so much fun stuff together now and I know it will only get better. Sometimes, I just wish he would still sit on my lap and let me hold him.

You are still so young! I guess I shouldn't complain, my oldest is still 3, but I would love to just put him in a bottle and keep him from getting any older...it breaks my heart!
Welcome back my little friend!

I'm here! Though you wouldn't have guessed it it to look at my blog.

I was trapped on a train with very noisy schoolkids yesterday. However loud and big they were - each one of them is someone's 'baby'. (I had to work hard to remember that...)

Lovely to see you out and about.

Lets talk about being to old to sit on your lap. Exactly what age is that, and how soon will Noah get there. I just keep thinking that even as an adult Noah will be trying to sit on my lap and snuggle.

I love that he has turned 8. Just think I bet he could fit in pants that are men's 26 waist, 26 or 28 length. I say this not to make you sad but I bought a pair of jeans that were 26/28 or 28/28 by mistake and they fit Christopher. Hee Hee.

Hi Amanda! So nice to see you. Seriously.

Those are some BIG shoes. Wow. I thought they were yours, actually. I'm endlessly shocked how big the kids seem. Monkey is turning into a little man - more grown up everyday. Buddy's so independent and confident! I'm happy about it all... but still; my babies! where did they go?

Oh and PS: I looked at your voty thing on the right there... You left out: It's fine that you've been away, I'll be back to read and happy to see you whenever you get around to posting. Of course I still like you! silly.

I've missed you. Our thoughts and prayers were with you yesterday. I was just telling my friend the other day if I found a genie in a bottle I would wish for a trip to Brunswick with my kids. We really miss seeing everyone, we wish we could come. We talk about it all of the time. I want to see my Grandma in SC too. About the shoes, You should see the fit I throw when I can't find my shoes because Kaylee has walked off with them. 15 yrs old, 5'5 and growing I am old. You're too cute, and fun to age. Look at Gigi she doesn't age.
